Nope I haven't been stung. I'm smarter than the average bear. I was 7 feet away using the 55-200mm lens.

Thanks for the compliment Jenn. All three photos were shot with a Nikon D7000.
1:55-300mm lens, ISO 1600, shutter speed 1/1600

2:17-55mm lens, ISO 100, shutter speed 1/400

3: 55-200mm lens, ISO 800, shutter speed 1/640
