This speech may have been written in humorous protest and not actually delivered BUT, Mr Boortz IS a champion of the FAIR TAX, which is real! FAIRTAX.ORG

Poo! Please move to another country....You would probably not be as bitter and controlling if you lived with your own kind...I also pray that nothing happens to you that you would need the help of others. You would probably be out of luck. We all have our opinions and this is mine... Blessings

Notice mostly lefty, liberal, teacher types first to rush to Snopes! LOL May not have been said but it is 100% TRUE.

I really don't give a rat's rump who wrote it or where it was spoken, if at all.
The fact is this...It says a lot of truth that most liberals don't know how to answer to.

Good luck trying to reason with a liberal. But it sure is fun to piss them off with facts and watch as they try to distort it. Much better than anything on TV.

"What is truth?" questioned Pilate to the Christ? What was his answer? Those of you who have a Bible look it up. Woops have some of you lost your Bible, or have to pry it out of the dust.
Just a fun little history fact. With very few exceptions, most young people in the farming areas in years around 1820 from Midwest to East could read and understand the Bible. Many of them had little formal school education. Others that still did read the Bible easily too. Now even PhD's have a hard time understanding it. I am not talking about interpretations, of which there are many, but just basic understanding. Now has our education progressed or retrogressed? Hmm where would it be if the Bible were still in the classroom. As far as a literature book, the Bible can blow away almost anything out there.

I'll pass and wait a few years for Obummers next book. Then I will surely know "The Truth". I wonder if the book includes a teleprompter in case I want to read to a group. I'll check with Amazon.

As folks have checked, he did write it but tongue in cheek and never was able to deliver the speech. Kermit the Frog got invited to speak but not him.

So his writing could be a little sided due to being slighted.

I liked it and think it is absolutely true though. Too many takers and that is going to ruin this country.

John 18:38 and 39. 38“What is truth?” retorted Pilate. With this he went out again to the Jews gathered there and said, “I find no basis for a charge against him. 39 But it is your custom for me to release to you one prisoner at the time of the Passover. Do you want me to release ‘the king of the Jews’?”.
I don't get your point..Sorry. Jesus didn't answer. Are you thinking of another verse? I love the Bible and welcome conversation pertaining to it.

I see you're from Utah....We are talking about the Bible and not the book of mormon, right? Don't take offense. Just making sure.

YES the Bible. I don't mix the two up, I study it in Spanish.
Eugene, No offense taken. Congrats for standing up for the Bible. FYI there would be no BOM without the Bible, because its subtitle is another Testament of Jesus Christ. That is its purpose, to again testify of Him and his divine earthly mission.
Now back to the question, of course Christ didn't answer, but did he know what truth is, yes, as do all who follow him and are believers. Pilate and those around him did not qualify for the answer. Christians and other good people of other faiths automatically recognize and discern truth, i.e. know right from wrong. The light (all powerful and all encompassing influence) of Christ allows good people to do this. So, good people, automatically can see the truth from the undelivered speech, or whatever it is.
Truth does not change. It is the same in the past, present, and future. That is my point. Thanks for being one of those that love and are aware of the sacred writ.

The writer hit the nail on the head. As soon as the libs have their toes steped on they scream foul. They cant take the truth when it hits them right square in the face. I wonder how many of those rich democrats would stay democears if they would be taxed on what they have instead of what they earned?? I say we need a flat tax on everything we spend not on what we earn or what we have. Our govermant is so crooket they could hide in the shadow of a corkscrew. And thats on both sides. We have to stop defending them. VOTE THEM ALL OUT. If we ran our household like they run the country we would all be in jail.If we took bribes fron the big money lobbyest we would be in jail. How long are the people on both sides going to take to wise up and Keep voteing them all out till they start doing whats right for us and not themselves. We just got a new batch of woman put in office, I hope they can take control and turn this around. The men sure cant fix things. They have had their hands out for what ever they can get for themselves. Lets stop that sneeking all their pork on the bills of somthing impornt. Then later they all point the finger at each other saying you voted for that or you voted aganst that. When they know right well it was put on a bill with something important.Make them them vote on each thing alone. Then we will know who voted for or aganst that bill alone. And who is voting for all that pork they keep blameing each other for. Lets keep their feet to the fire. Make them work for us not for those spec. intrest groups with all their money, so they can make more and have all those loopholes to avoid the tax man. If we had a flat tax they to would have to pay tax on everything they bought. As far as the needy goes. We know who they are And we can take care of them. Not the bums that refuse to work. Not the ones that choose the bottle or drugs. If thats the life they choose so be it, but we should not enable them by giveing them money to buy more. Feed them give then a place to sleep and thats all. This country is not helping them. They just give to them to get their vote. Why didnt they want the voter ID. They would lose their votes. Again wake up before its too late if it not already too late. Out grandchildren Will still be paying off this mess our goverment got us into. Stop those giveaway programs. Bring our boys home. We cant fight a war on the ground anymore. We lose more boys every day not by fighting but just by rideing over a bomb on the road, or haveing some nut with a bomb blow himself up just to kill some of our young men.Bring tham home. Let the CIA Or the drones take them out. We dont want to kill inocent people but when it comes to them or us it has to be them.

Anyone who knows Neal Boortz will know that these are his sentiments, if not his words. He is a devout libertarian, and rarely minces words to soften the blow of his message. He loves and respects people, and will not lie to them for any reason.
A liberal faced with the truth, is simply unable to accept it. Truth is not a part of the liberal diet.
In an unrelated example: If you ask a liberal if he/she is Pro-Life they will answer that they definitely are. If you ask if he/she is Pro-Abortion they will say "absolutely not". Now, a reasonable, clear thinking individual would ask: "How can this be?"
