Great shots, I love old technology, early steam and water powered machinery is so fascinating. I wonder if these shots would lend themselves to B&W or Sepia treatment; it seems like they would be interesting using some of the artistic effects of post processing too.
Love the 1st shot and it would be an awesome shot to do in HDR. Wish we had places like this to just stumble across. Most of our old farmsteads are torn down and planted over........
Great shots. The skill required to fabricate the gears and cogs boggles the mind.

Excellent subject and images---thanks for sharing! I would enjoy visiting this mill, also. The first image is well done---this winter scene is stunning, well worth the effort of shooting in the cold weather! If you don't mind--please send me the contact information as well.
Thanks Dusty. I'll send you a PM as soon as I answer all of these wonderful replies. Thanks for commenting.

Thanks TC. I thought about the second image in B&W. Some of the others I haven't processed yet may do well as sepia or B&W. Thanks for commenting.

Thanks coco. Actually, all three images are HDR, but I took about as much time with them as I do combing my hair in the morning .... That don't take long. LOL Don't give up "stumbling". I've worked 4 miles from this place for 16 years and didn't have a clue it was there.

Thanks veroman. I feel very ashamed at having complained about how hard it was assembling my computer desk.
Love these photos! Camera, lens, settings, etc.?

Thank you Rexene. These were taken with a Canon 7D. All were bracketed exposures at (-2 ..0 .. +2).
On the top image, I used an EF 17-40mm f/4L USM ... AV 22 ... TV 1/6... ISO 100
Middle image, Same lens with AV 5.6 ... TV 3.2 ...ISO 400
Last image I used an EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM ... AV 4 ...TV 4 ... ISO 100
Thanks for looking and commenting.
