The moon has just a bit of orange color to it. Your weed....just a little soft....looks nice though...I like it.

At first I felt I had to squint to see the weed more clearly, but as Bret says, it looks nice and the softness fits the subject. Birds are kind of dark for me, but I know everyone's laptops see differently.

Your moon is a bit soft ..... The moon can be orange early in it's rise this time of year. I like the soft feel of your vegetation ... the Canada Geese image is interesting, plenty to look at, held my interest for more than a glimpse.

I didn't add anything to the moon. It was rising in orange, kind of a harvest moon. But I should calm that down. If it looks fake or wrong then it needs to look more natural.

Weeds were soft, slight wind causing movement and shot through kitchen window. I liked the effect but I need to work on the sharpness. Thank you Bret!

Birds were taken right at sundown. When I up the exposure they are a little noisy. (I'm hiding the flaws. :-D ). Caught them from the road. Thank you for your critique! I'll work on the sharpness and noise so I can increase exposure if needed.

Thank you bhowdy! Appreciate the comments. I'm working on the moon shots. I will work more!

Your moon might be a little soft but I've seen them a lot more orange then that, the softness of the second one fits the subject perfectly and the lighting is great! I've seen pictures like the third in Outdoor Life! Might need a little sharpness and contrast! Overall the good outweighs the bad!!

I LOVE # 2. If I had that photo, I would frame it & hang it!

Thank you my friend! I will practice more. On the birds, I realized I was on A priority and should have been on S. I still have trouble, for some reason, working on light with S but I don't on A. So I tend to rely on A too much. (Hope Gregoryd doesn't read this. He taught me to use M and I have, but I need to use it more.) I'm back to worrying about my eyes and the sharpness. Never seem to get that pinpoint sharpness if the light is dull.

TK, Love the Weeds. don't make any change except to enlarge it to 20x40 and frame it for your wall.

Moon, okay. Weeds are really nice. I love the soft focus... you made the right creative choice on that one. The ducks will be an award winner after you crop out all the weeds. Make the standing ducks the foundation, then the flying ducks will be accented. Good work.

Thanks, Jaime. Here is a cropped shot. Let me know how you feel about it.
