Identify this spider?

Would someone please identify this spider? I think it may be a wolf spider, seems a bit small, though. I hope it's not a brown recluse!

I apologize for the quality of the pic, too. It's a heavily cropped, one-handed iPhone capture in my kitchen.

Thanks in advance

ps And, there's no possibility of another pic of this spider. It's well squished, quite mangled & in the trash!

Serious replies, preferred.

Looks like either a Hobo Spider or a Wolf Spider -- neither is lethal but the Wolf will give you a painful bite.

Neither is anything to worry about.

Wolf Spider

Thank you Bridges. Actually, I'm more worried about my dog getting bit. He's quite curious about 'bite sized' objects on the floor.

Definitely not a Brown Recluse. I am not familiar with the Hobo, but it could be a Wolf.
