I’ve been a member of UHH for quite a while but was forced to withdraw from active participation because of on-going medical problems. I’ve continued monitoring the site and enjoy B&W photography so I decided to drag out a few of my oldies and give them another run around the track.

Nicely done, John. I like your processing here very much; it is appropriate for the wide tonal range of this image. I have also been working with old negatives and thoroughly enjoying it! Looking forward to seeing more of your archives.

That is a great picture! I am happy to see back and posting. I hope your health continues to allow you to do so!

Thank you for the positive post and warm greeting, Jill. I greatly appreciate it. I missed the social interaction as well as the photography on UHH. My posts on the black and white forum will be primarily from my archives. I also plan to post again on the food forum but with less frequency. I look forward to interacting with you and my other photo buddies once more.

Thanks again for stopping by.

John

Thank you, John. Always nice to hear from an old friend. I’ve been battling medical problems and lost most of my mobility. I couldn’t go out with my camera so I stopped posting. I missed UHH so I’ve decided to post from my archives with an occasional new one. I enjoy the interaction. It’s good to be back.
