Thank you for another fine compliment. I appreciate them all.

I think you would like the Sony RX10IV. With only one lens I have never noticed any spots on the sensor and the lens seems to be sharper than I can hold when I do my part even out to 600mm. Maybe when you get serious you could rent one to give it a try.

The Snake River has begun its annual runoff with the resulting high water, tons of debris carried down river and so on. I went to the actual Falls of Idaho Falls yesterday afternoon to see what photographs I might take of the runoff.
From the bridge crossing the river on Broadway Street in the downtown area I spotted this Cormorant swimming along the river before it went over the falls. I got a decent photograph from a long distance with my Sony RX10IV using 600mm. I took some other photos far off up the river of the Mormon Temple and then took a look back at the Cormorant. It was standing on top of some log debris with its out stretched wings doing the Bald Eagle routine of being our National Bird. Then came numerous photos of this Cormorant doing the Bald Eagle routine. I hope you like these.

Thank you very much CCPhotoist for your nice comment. I loved the Cormorant doing his imitations of a Bald Eagle.

Very nice.

When I took a first quick glance the second photo looks looks like a happy bird, the third bird looks like its related to the devil.

These are the best IMHO.

Thank you very much Bill_de for your comment. I have a photograph of one of my granddaughters who has that same kind of look. We call it The Look. She just turned 7 and the photo is years ago but it gives off the mental image whoever she is looking at BETTER do as she wants. The third Cormorant photo gives that same look. Glad you noticed it.

Here is The Look first and then a photo not so frightening.
