I totally agree there is truth in some Trump support being governed by the end justifies the means but what I find ridiculous is the notion that because one might support one candidate over another that their motives are to destroy our democracy or some overriding fear of losing a white majority. Are there still individuals or small knucklehead groups who advocate racism? Obviously and there always will be. But just as there are anarchists on the left (Antifa and others who may be screaming death to America as we speak) we shouldn’t assign the nefarious motives of these individuals on the majority of left and right thinking Americans. I think you would agree that the noise we hear and make on sites like this aren’t generally indicative of what the average citizen thinks about day in and day out.
