Memory Card not recognized by PC

All, I appreciate all the help. Here's what I have tried: 1) Reformatting the card (several times) 2) plugging the card reader into all the USB ports on my PC (there are 4 ports and I've tried all of them). 3) checking on the drivers for the card reader (made sure I have the latest ones). Still the PC will not recognize the card in question. The card reader has a permanent cord, so I can't switch cables. One of the suggestions was to get a different CF card reader, I haven't tried that yet.

Most likely the OP needs a card reader compatible with his CF-Express card.

ALCON: Again I want to thank everyone for all of their help and suggestions. In the end, I bought a new card reader that specifically said it reads CF express type B and XQD cards. So it is working now.
