I tend to hang out with older folks, and I've noticed something amusing. If something falls to the floor, people don't rush to pick it up. Like me, I bet they are asking themselves two questions: Do I really need that thing? If I bend down that far, will I be able to get back up?

I pause for a moment and think about if there is anything else I can accomplish while I am down there.
No reason to waste the effort on just one thing!

It's all relative -- a piece of change, maybe not. A 100.00 bill definitely! A beautiful woman, maybe just fall down beside her hoping neither of you get up!

I've been there and I also mentally ask those questions.

I must still be growing because the floor keeps getting farther and farther away.

Jerry, your post got me thinking about all of the possibilities and opportunities that I might encounter if I were to rush over somewhere and . . . . .
Sigh, now what was the question? Sometimes your posts make me . . . .
Smile,

That's why I have a grabber tool, keeps me from bending over and crawling around on the floor.

That's why little kids are so little. When they fall, they're not falling very far, so they don't get hurt.
