During the first week of October every year the Mississippi Gulf Coast has a weeklong festival called Cruisin the Coast. It is referred to as "Americas Largest Block Party" and it show cases antique, classic and hot rod vehicles. It started in 1996 with 374 classic cars registering. Last year almost ten thousand antique, classic and hot rods registered from multiple states and some foreign countries.
Two years ago, I had bought an old film camera along with a vintage 50mm lens. I wanted to get a roll of film through the camera before my limited warranty ran out to ensure the camera worked and there was no light leaks. The only film I had was Illford HP5, so I took the camera with the film and attached are some of the pictures I got when the block party came to Biloxi. B&W film does not do justice to the paint jobs on these classic cars but it was all I had at the time. Hope you enjoy. Jim.
Appears the camera is a keeper.

Yes. Ther camera is a keeper alright. I have been blessed to have added several vintage lenses to the 50mm. Thanks.
Some real cool cars there
Some fine vehicles well shot Jim. Have been to this event several times, a great time. One year Scott Kelby's photo walk was held during this event.

Curmudgeon. They are a lot of fun to look at. Hey Don. Last year we had some guy by the name of Jay Leno show up and partake in the party. Never heard of him but people said he is a big fan of classic cars. Jim.
Love the bubble top Chevy. I’d love it more without the oversized wheels.

Your skill with a camera is well showcased with this post. However, I wish you had some color film in your camera to capture some of the beautiful paint jobs that must have graced these vehicles!
Very good B&W series, J11.
