Now that I read your post, you are surely wrong.
Don’t you really hate topic police?
Fascinating ! Thank you for posting and wherever is moot. That’s not the point.
Thanks again.

Hate? We need restrictions on our daily lives!

Looking at this photo reveals more and more items of interest.
Probably has a lot to do with how we miss things both taking pictures and editing those pictures.
It is not a photograph it is a drawing illustrating an optical illusion. To me it has little to even do with photographic philosophy. Was there supposed to be a linked article? For sure the GENERAL CHIT CHAT Section!
Thanks Joe, much appreciated

I find them trite, dull and occasionally amusing.

Possibly a photo of an illustration, it is a jpg after all.
Sorry you can't relate to the mind/eye not picking up on everything it sees vs what the camera sees. Obvious example is taking a picture of a flower and not noticing a spider or other insect until you bring up the picture on your computer. Another is spending lots of time editing a photo and think you got it right and the next day you notice you got it way oversaturated/overcooked, or left a blob from a mask, or never noticed how the horizon was crooked. I'll take your word for it you don't get the relationship to photography, I guess your just special.
I think the photo/illustration and my statement clearly shows how it relates to photography, so it certainly does not belong in a
non-photography chit chat section. There are a number of forum sections it could have been posted and imo, and plenty of others, it was posted in the most appropriate section.

Thanks Alien. The forum cops get their panties bunched up over some really strange issues.
Occasionally they go nutz because a mistake is made and someone posts by mistake a photo gallery post in the Main Photography section. They make a big deal out of it because they are full of themselves and enjoy bullying people over nothing much.
In this case, it seems pretty clear to me my post was in the correct section, and those supposedly getting all recycled over it are just a few that have not been able to bully me in the past, and it's really not related to the subject matter at all and likely just a personal problem with them. I'm rather certain one of them complained to
Admin. about it, because it was moved, but it's as you say, a moot point.

There is some consolation, in knowing we don't all live such small lives that we have to be on a blood pressure monitor, over a nothing issue like being hypertensive about where someone posted a topic.

I don’t really see many people on here getting bent out of shape over posting in the wrong forum. I do see people pointing out that it’s the wrong forum and there’s nothing wrong with that. There are different forums for a reason and if we don’t point out that something is in a wrong forum how do we expect them to learn.
I do see people getting their panties in a knot over this being done, but it’s a made up issue.
As for your lame post, it was moved to where it belongs.

You sure attribute a lot of motives for people you don't even know. You sound like the people you are criticizing.

No need to know them personally. I know enough from their many posts and forum behavior to correctly attribute their nonsense.
As for sounding like them, yes, when you jump in the mud with them, you'll get dirty.
If getting dirty bothers you, stay out of the water.
My original post dealt directly with photography. For those that didn't see that, I explained in that original post (and subsequent posts) how it related to both taking pictures, and editing pictures. Clearly it belonged it the Main Photography forum, not in a NON-photography forum.
