You're full of caca, when I mentioned options it was a bit of a misspeak as in the options you have when taking your stock compensation ie if you differ or not, options are a completely different thing and certainly not what you and I have been discussion throughout this thread. Plain and simple, you can not avoid income tax on stock based compensation other than charitable donations where that money actually does not come to you, you're the dummy here fighting a cause you lost out of the block.

You've figured out a way to slant everything I posted into a position statement that makes you happy. You are the one who brought in options, you are the one who argued against there being income tax avoidance in favor of capital gains and also the one who said there was NO way to avoid taxes. But there are many ways which I've proven. I'll take the win because you ended where I started. So, the meme is correct - rich people avoid income tax by getting compensation in the form of stock instead of salary. Correct! But, congrats on trying to save face.

The Left wants people to pay a FAIR share. Can we agree on that? So shouldn't every person in America pay SOMETHING in the way of income to help support this fine country? Even if the person is poor but makes $5000 per year can't that person pay 10%, pay SOMETHING if nothing else but they get to have every same privilege every other person in the country has. Surely that would be a fair share. But you on the Left Want the rich to pay far more than their fair share. You want the rich to pay most likely 90% of all the taxes collected while the rest of us who do pay our fair share every year will maintain the rest of the Tax and Spend money coming into the government.

But either one is far better than the totally complex, incomprehensible and unfair current system in place now. However, if you want to change the current code, eliminate ALL loopholes then reduce the effective tax rate on everyone and ensure ALL citizens pay federal income taxes. If they can tax Social Security, they can tax welfare, child support, workers comp, disaster relief payments and many others.
