Really neat image! I don’t know much about mushroom varietals (actually, nothing) is this a single mushroom or a “colony” of mushrooms? Sorry, my ignorance shouldn’t be your problem. All of your images draw me in to ponder and study… you’re one of the highlight's of my day. Thanks!

I'm going to guess and say that this is a clump. These were on the vendors table at the local farmer's market.
I know enough about mushrooms to only eat the ones I buy from the market Krogers in my neck of the woods.
