Just wait until you find out how much it costs to return it to China! Bet the cheapest shipment is about six-seven times more than $22.
About $19, and the seller would probably deduct a "restocking fee." 😊
I might offer it on eBay at half price, noting that it doesn't fit. There are so many places selling the 3-cable version, but no one offering the one with 4 cables. I asked the guy who posted the how-to video where he got his, but I don't expect a reply. There are models offered "For Parts," but a working version costs just a bit more.

North American and International camcorders use a different spec. International is P.A.L. and US spec is called something else. The issue may be related to that. And this difference is why it is important to avoid most grey market camcorders.
Yes - NTSC. Someone at the BBC jokingly referred to that as "Never the same color." In England, the colors are set before the signal goes out. I have a "Region-Free" DVD player that can play PAL disks. That gives me more buying choices.

So now we have ATSC what would they call that?

Don't know and don't care. The BBC guy thought it was an advantage having someone else adjust the color on your TV. Actually, with modern TVs, there's nothing to adjust without going into the Menu system. Remember the old days with knobs for tuning, fine tuning, brightness, contrast, horizontal, and vertical? My Samsung doesn't have any controls at all on the TV itself.

Yes and unlike before if you lose your remote you still can fully control your TV just have to get off your chair but today without the remote your TV won't work.

"...just have to get off your chair..." And therein lies the problem!

May we interest you in a battery powered Rolo chair?
Spending part of my working career in R & D I soon realized that the consumer (public or otherwise),...in one way or another is always being sold an interim (the current prototype) of any given product.
It's considered progressive product improvement and part of ongoing new and improved technology.
Especially frustrating when the original product was more than perfectly adequate as it originally was.
As Jerry states,....very frustrating when doing self repairs to save on co$tly service.
I remember when I was growing there were local " All Service Repair Shops",..that fixed broken household items,..(radios, toasters, motors, amplifiers, televisions and such),...at very reasonable prices,...then slowly....solid state electronics,...printed circuits, micro chips and such infiltrated the component market,...eventually making those repair shops obsolete.
I still have and use regularly,.. my mom's early 1950s chrome Sunbeam toaster that automatically lowers bread, toasts it to the desired doneness, turns off and ejects the finished toast.....all automatically.
It can easily be dismantled and via adjustable metalic points (like that of an old auto's distributor's points) it is quickly fixed like new,.....no built in obsolescence, rather,...well designed,....built to last and last and last.
Watch out for Vietnamese sellers. eBay covered the loss.
