The only thing I can think of is that the statue seems to be bullet-riddled, probably shot up by many people that autocorrect has annoyed and beleaguered.

That might be it. Maybe they’re saying the guy loved his pet duck so much that it was the word he chose to replace f*** with instead of luck, tuck, etc..??
