It depends on what you want to do. A house with three teenagers all streaming video and downloading tunes? I think you’ll be pretty good.
Uploading lots of RAW files to UHH? Not so much, as long as you don’t mind the wait.

Anyone uploading RAW filles to UHH??? In fact can you?? Most raw files are larger than 20MB limit on the UHH.

Yeah, sorry…a bit of ignorance on my part trying to make a metaphor that would ring with the group.
Perhaps ‘trying to share that video with the grandkids’ would be better.

Actually something that I don't do but would need high speed upload is cloud backup. You would have to upload TB worth of data.
My PC is hard wired to the router. That's how I obtain very fast download speed. I ran a 75ft. ethernet cable along baseboards, up and over doorways and through four walls. to eliminate a wireless connection. I do live in a one floor 1500 sq. ft condo.

If something is working on a 1GHz frequency it's likely can't transmit data at 1Gbps. Generally much slower. Wifi is 2.4 and 5.0 GHz but they transmit slower than 2.4 or 5.0 Gbps.
In NE Ohio (USA) I have Spectrum internet. 300down/10up for $80/month. Spectrum is a necessary evil, because I think it's the best deal in town.
Used to have ATT Uverse, 18, 4. Spectrum put fiber in our area (rural) 570, 25 now. The buffering disappeared.
