Well said. I do respect others and their ways of working. I thought I would add some insight into our craft. What works works and we have to listen to the people that sign our checks.
Be well

Jules, just so you know I think you do great work. I also think that technically what you have said is largely correct. Our styles and jobs are just very different. Thanks for listening.

My pleasure. I truly believe we can learn from one another, different techniques, ideas, etc. I have been shooting since I was 13 I am now 78 so a few years under the belt. I am always looking to get better, even if sometimes our views are slightly different. Always good to share and talk to you. I just don't know your name. lol smile.

Btbg stands for big tall bald guy which is my nickname. My name is Lon and I'm only 68 and have been shooting since I was nine.

And I agree you can always learn from others. If we aren't trying to learn and trying to get better then why bother.

I know I do some things that aren't necessarily considered normallike not using a monopod, but its really hard to fimd a monopod that is comfortable for tall people, and so far I'm strong enough I don't really need one.

My big advantage is I played 4 sports in college so anticipation the action and my biggest weakness is I get so busy taking notes for the writing I have to do that I fail to get a lot of crowd photos or the emotions of players.

I have shot a couple times in Vegas for the National Finals Rodeo and Nas ar but have never shot any other sports there. Mostly shoot in small towns.
