Right! I don't pay sales tax at B&H, and that has saved me quite a bit. B&H sells a lot more than cameras and computers. I always check there before ordering from Amazon. They deliver faster, too.

Yeah I bought my guitar and audio interface from them too.

Personally, I prefer OEM Nikon batteries. YMMV! I have tried Watson, Power Pro (or something like that) and Manfrotto and found that they quickly start degrading. I do have several SmallRig units, because they were cheap and I like SmallRig products. They seem to work well in my Nikon Z8s, but they also SEEM to not last as long as the OEM. Nothing scientific here, no actual testing. Just my opinion and my gut. Best of luck.

In theory the third party batteries can be better than OEM because the OEM's were not made by the camera manufacturers. They contracted them out and at a price point. The battery manufacturers know batteries and in theory they can make better batteries than the one they made for OEM. But I guess they figure that they have to sell the batteries for cheap so they can't make it better than OEM.

And there are readily available inexpensive adapters to go from USB-C to USB or vice versa.

In theory they ALL could make better batteries and sell them for less. Just look at the huge price drop on the Nikon En-El 18d from rollout to today. I have four of those batteries I purchased for FULL price of $ 200+! Oh well! Best of Luck.
