Thanks Bill! It was dpullum who suggested I name it "Rear Window." It all made sense after that

I like this one a lot, Linda. The noir treatment and the empty table conjure up so many interesting story possibilities.

Since I was an English/Lit teacher for 40 years, I always look to see if a story might be there. I do not, however subscribe to the theory that every photo must tell a story. Sometimes a photo is just something nice to look at, nothing more.

I understand. I tend to use story to be whatever the final result of decisions made by the photographer regarding subject, composition, lighting, processing etc.

If there wasn't any deliberation involved (a quick snap), that's a different kind of story
