Thanks, Don! Yes, a little different, but you have to go with what you can get, right? No longer in Florida although, we might be going back. But I love Arizona. One nice thing about Arizona is that you can stay within the state and find comfortable temps all year round. Florida, not so much!

Yes, up north it's not usually very hot. And most of the state is beautiful. I haven't been to Flagstaff in years, but it used to be very nice. By the way, when I said "different," I meant "good different" - I like that photo a lot!! Keep your powder dry and don't sit on any cactus! Don

Greening up after the rains.
The Desert blooms with a little water!

I live in an arid zone in Central Australia and can relate to your comment about the effect that rain has on a mostly dry environment. The change from straw colours to green grass after rain is very pleasing to the eyes as well as being beneficial to wildlife and live stock. Thank you for sharing chief. Cheers, Richard.

Wow, what a shot. Love the contrast of the color. It looked like they posed for you!

No misunderstanding here, Don! I like the photo a lot too! Keeping the powder dry is easy in the desert! And yeah, even a knucklehead like me learns pretty quickly to watch where you sit in cactus country!

Thank you very much, Sylvia! I'm loving it here, but time to move on before it turns into a frying pan!

Thank you, Richard. I visited Australia a few years ago. Unfortunately, central OZ wasn't on the agenda. I would love to go back someday and get a broader view. My pleasure sharing my photos!
