I don't have email from them. Websites that I visit don't have their ads. I know some people get a lot of Temu ads just by going to the UHH website. I don't do anything but I guess the figure that I am not a potential customer.

It depends on your Browser. If you use Firefox, what works for me pretty well is to go into Tools/Settings/Privacy and first of all, set Privacy to Strict. (There's a comment that says this might make some sites not work but I haven't found any that don't work) you can make exceptions if it does and if you trust those sites. Then scroll down and check the boxes to clear all cookies/cache on closing. This doesn't delete any passwords or anything you need.
If you are still getting stuff or a bit paranoid, as I am, you can then do a bit of a clean up at night, or whenever you are going to close up the computer. I am using Windows (10). On your Home screen is a utility called Disk Cleanup. Open that and tick all the boxes to delete. Then Click on System Files, make sure everything is ticked here as well and follow the instructions to delete. You won't lose anything you need and only takes about 3 minutes once you get to know what you are doing.
I can only say this works for me without problems. We have 4 computers in the house inc 2 ipads. Touch wood, never had a virus, a blue screen or any of the myriad problems we hear about. And that's since the days of DOS when I bought the first computer for my business. (was told by the young smart salesman that it would last us forever for the business, yeah right! Had to trade it in within the year.)
I got a lot of ads but no Temu. I guess they figured that I am not a worthwhile customer.

99% of Temu's ads to me are for women's underwear. There is no woman in this house!

I know there is no woman in your house and thus... you are free to buy underwear for many women.

Yeah, I don't think any women I know would like receiving such a gift from me.
