I would have worded this differently.
"I'm afraid we have some bad news for you. Our IT guy says your Portal password is weak, and your next visit will depend upon strengthening it. Oh, by the way, the doctor says you're fine."

I don't care for IT guys. I think IT guys are guys that work with computer but don't program and like to play god.

I don’t use portals. I know some that do and say it’s real handy. But as much as the Dr’s charge I think someone can answer my questions. Besides; getting the answer you are looking for doesn’t always match what you get.

After 47 years in the IT industry, my teams and I were not referred to that way. "Necessary expenses" by Finance management, "police" sometimes when we encountered security or policy violations or porn, etc., but mostly as "angels" where we rescue an employee with a failed computer quickly with a replacement or a few minutes of calm resolution. FYI, there are also a lot of IT "girls".
