I see no mention of displaying prints online on the above post.

Im looking for something that’s a bit more upscale than Flickr—any thoughts?
I imagine I'm just being dense - yet again - but in what way "more upscale" than Flickr? More expensive? Fancier website? Fewer low income users? Fewer images that seem unappealing?

He knows he can't display prints. Only a digital copy. I did not read the post that he really wants to display prints. I took it as just a figure of speech.
You’ve got it right of course—I know anything on line is a digital file, ideally optimized for web display. I’m not trying to sell anything, nor was I denigrating Flicker. I was simply inquiring if there were sites that were more ‘professional looking than Flickr (whatever ‘professional’ might might mean.)

Are you looking for a site to sell your work or just show it? If it’s the latter and you’re an Adobe subscriber you can easily set up your own website with MyPortfolio, which is included in your subscription.
Thread title (FWIW) says "Display".

"Cant display prints online" ?!?
Oh, right ... acoarst not ! Just like you cant display engravings, or paintings, or sculpture, or sneakers or dogs etc etc etc.
The OP wanting an "upscale" venue strongly suggests that hard copy might be depicted as an "art object", perhaps as merchandise.
But unlike paintings or bicycles or sketches, a photo print is special in that you dont need to digitize the art object cuz its origin is digital (not news, acoarst). Therein lies the rub.

If you’re not looking to sell and are an Adobe subscriber I again say checkout MyPortfolio since it’s included.
