I sure appreciate you looking in, Ron. There's been a lot of opinions from viewers of this shot as to its real purpose...home, barn, something entirely different. When I'm back in that area this Fall, I'm going to do my best to find out exactly what it's role was. I still believe it was a home, with perhaps a secondary function.

Thanks for stopping by and for commenting. This is the only shot I took, I'll be back up there this Fall and I intend to dig around and find out exactly what the original purpose of the structure was. I'll get more shots of it as well.
I still believe it served as a home. A few folks have suggested a barn, a hunting lodge, or some other purpose. It's possible that it was some sort of a dual purpose place. I will find out.
It's a beautiful farm house. The colors are perfect. Everything is in sync with It's surroundings. I love it.
