Page 8 - WOW. What super rust. Love the old tractors, cars, machine parts, farm parts, and buildings. Rust is beautiful, yet also sad. I like to imagine what they would have been ike in their heyday. And Ann Murray - how great to see you.

p.7 You surely found some pretty neat rust - what is #2?
P8- Thanks for looking and for your question. #2 is a wood file or rasp.
Here's one more set. These are three shots of the same thing, which is an old boiler from the powerhouse of what was once a very large meat processing plant in Medora, North Dakota. The business, the De Mores Packing Plant, was built in 1883 but only operated until 1886, and was destroyed in a fire in 1907.

I have seen better art photos taken of rust in the challenge than I have of photos of actual art anywhere else π₯π₯π₯π₯

What's the safe word
Beautiful shots π°π°π°π°, but suddenly I had the image of a field full of S&M farm-type implements - unused for ages - and couldn't help laughing

That old boiler would make a great home for an English bulldog - with the spiked collar - from one of those old Warner Brothers cartoons
Beautifully picturesque πΊπΊπΊ

I have one that's getting pretty close to that condition, but not quite as photogenic

Years back when someone said to them, "It's us - or rust!" They said, "Rust!"
