Forget the speakers, no one wants to hear your music. Get a pair of Sennheiser HD820s and get better sound than what you would get from a set of speakers.

If you have some brands of hearing aids, you can get the best left/right separation by pairing them with your pocket computer. Pocket computers are sometimes called smart phones.

Klipsch. Even their computer speakers sound awesome. I've got 2 of their subs, one 10" the other 12", both let you feel the bass as much as hear it. BTW, their headphones are just as amazing. FWIW

I'm going to have to have help from someone at work to get the sub in the house and into my room. It will ship on Tuesday and should be here on Wednesday since it's less than 3 hrs away if driven at once.//but from what I hear, it's going to be on a pallet, and heavy. Double=checked the dimensions..this thing is going to stick out like a sore thumb!

I was once a part owner of an acoustics company. We installed a large and very powerful sound system in a young adult nightclub many years ago. It included two 30 inch subs at floor level. The decibel levels of the throbbing music were so high that some of the customers got physically ill.

I was there for the grand opening and got a little nauseous myself. We went in the next day and toned it down somewhat.
