I would never have guessed that the base shot was done in the rain. I think that helped with the final results. The “rain texture” helps give it that grainy look. The use of more than one texture I think is something that should be done more often.

Thanks Frank. I agree wholeheartedly about multiple texture use, particularly because you can get so many variations via blend modes, opacity level and selective masking.

So pleased you enjoyed, Sippy. Thank you!

Hadn't driven past that old, old barn for many years. Was suprised it was still standing.

Its a crying shame what happened to all those people! You've documented it all very well indeed.

ROTFL. I never thought this interpretation is what some would see

Could be a foggy day at sunrise. I don't find the image at all foreboding. Perhaps "mysterious" is a word I might use to describe this scene. I like it Linda. The barn has a fabulous shape. If it was mine, I would consider eliminating the two power poles (or maybe just the pole on the left).

I was wondering when someone would mention the power pole I should do as you suggest since there are no visible wires connecting it to anything.

The barn has been abandoned for the 20+ years I've lived here, and I'm sure for a long time previously. It's very photogenic and stands by itself in a large field.

I'm grateful for your time and interest, Chris!
