Let's play find the car, and then we play find the road. Be careful not to miss any bridges, they wouldn't find the frozen mummy in the rusted car until late spring or early summer.
Back in Jan 1963 a friend and I went rabbit hunting in snow that deep and the temps with wind chill were about -20°F. The rabbits were smarter than us, they didn't come out.
When we gave up and each went off to our family farm house I walked in and my shotgun promptly developed about 1/8" of frost on the metal and in a heated house it didn't melt for almost 1/2 hour. Even the outer layer of my winter coat had frost on it for a while.
Walking into the house felt like getting up close to a blast furnace (I have done that.) until I started to warm up.
