Well, time for me to take my diabetes pills (just from looking) 🥇🥇🥇🥇
Didn't mean to send you into sugar overload!
Well, folks, we haven't lost power but after more inches of snow than I care to measure, we are now in the sleet/freezing rain category. Just delightful and typical of March tricks up here.
Here are my finals with many thanks for your participation...
A Sweet bluebird enduring the snow today and a bite or 2 of a Maine Whoopie pie. Topped off with one birthday cake.
Bewildered sweey little face.
I'm not fond of whoopie pies, but the maple ones are to die for.
Whoopies come in many flavors - chocolate seems to be a favorite.
And if you've had a birthday this week, I do hope it was sweet.

I'm not a betting man but I might consider taking this one.

I wonder if the chocolatiers smell like chocolate when they head for home.
I am sure they do! But that would not be bad😳?

Well, it's been a delicious challenge so far. We are having a March snow storm dumping 6-10" of snow which will later be encrusted by sleet and freezing rain. Power outs are anticipated so if I don't get back on later (I'm doing all my "electric" chores first, just in case), I'll catch up with you some time.
Some seasonal sweets. I'm packing up everything to do egg dying and taking it to our sons group home tomorrow. He loves dyeing eggs and maybe some of the other guys will join in or at least watch. I've made up goodie bags for all of them and am about to decorate a cake like the one in the last pict. Hoping it will be a fun time. Maybe we'll even do an egg hunt.

SO great to see yu, Tim! What an array of delights... And what a weird combo - elephants and candy. Of course, if one eats too much candy I suppose they could become as big as an elephant.
Thank you, Pat, and I'm glad you liked these images. Mr. Ed's has been around since 1975 and after his death a year or so ago, his grandchildren now run the place, that has over 12,000 elephant figurines and every type of candy known to man as well as an expansive tea set collection. When my mom was downsizing, she had a yard sale and sold her entire collection of tea pots and tea sets, most of which were truly unusual.
Image my surprise when the first time I took two of my granddaughters up to Mr. Ed's, we saw three of mom's most unusual tea pots. That memory and the knowledge so many people get to see them warms my heart.

Glad you enjoyed, Joe. I never knew there were so many types of Pez dispensers until we saw them at Mr. Ed's.

As always, your pictures were succulent and the challenge was fun. Thanks, Pat!

P14- Very nice set! I love jelly beans!
Hope you fare well with that wintry March storm.
P14- Nice set of photos Larry! Your prodigy playing by ear? And your young fisher gal looked pretty pleased.
