Man, these folks are spending a huge amount of money on ads! You can hardly watch TV without one of their ads coming up in just about every break and I get at least 20 to 30 e-mail ads a week as well. Now they have even re-branded the product to pull in male customers by calling it "Mando." Personally, I would rather stink than buy this product due to all the annoying ads! Just wondering if anyone else here is sick of hearing about it as well and needed to vent a bit. Good luck and good photography to all.

I notice other deodorant companies are jumping on the bandwagon with their own "whole-body" versions. I shower daily & use the under-arm stuff. So far no complaints so I'm good.

Someone suggested the government do something about all the commercials. That won't happen. What's happening is the broadcasters need more money. Their executive pay is skyrocketing while revenue is shrinking. Broadcast TV is going downhill what with all the cable/streaming services so they put in more ads to get more money. They don't think about lowering expenses!. Soon broadcast TV will have the same problems that newspapers are facing - possible extinction. For us, we use the recorder with the Dish system and then fast-forward the commercials. I refuse to watch commercials anymore.

These are all trivial annoyances compared to the Jardiance brain crampers. I’m concerned that the “mute” button on my remote has been over exercised.

I use this:

Very satisfying...

With regard to the Huckabee commercials, it's a result of our system that whoever pays the most money calls the shots. These candidates for public office become indentured servants to companies that fund their campaign ads. I think Larry Elder was another victim of this scheme. As long as the "winners" are beneficiaries of the "big money" they will never change the system. Candidates should not be able to collect millions of dollars from outside their jurisdictions. Don't hold your breath ;)

Do away with Citizens United and a lot of that funding will disappear

The "MUTE" button on my remote gets used quite often.

I'm not outraged by it. The first time that I saw it I said to myself, do I really need to see this?
I understand your opinion.

It does seem like they are increasing the number of commercial minutes per hour. There needs to be a law or FTC rule.

I was a TV broadcast engineer for nearly 20 years back in the late 70's and 80's. Back then a long break was 2 minutes and they generally came as a lead in, a mid break, and then and final break. Anyway, total time was generally 6 minutes per half hour. Now a single break can and often does last that long! It now takes 3 hours to watch a 2 hour movie with commercials and it just keeps getting worse with no end in sight. While we too try to record programs and then fast forward through the ads, one can wear out their button pusher doing so!

Broadcast tv needs to stop cancelling good, engaging shows. Reality tv & game shows don't do it for most of us. I know, they're cheaper to produce but the audience isn't going to hang around.

Recall the 1950's when the TV remotes first began to appear. We heard at the time the advertisers were aghast. Even they couldn't stop progress.

I'll confess to watching Fox News. Between the 3rd and 4th segment of Bret Bier's show, there's about a 5 minute session of ads. Does any company think folks are going to stay in touch with that much junk blasting at them?

I feel for the gal that does the commercials (ten times a day)! I hope they pay her nicely, because she will always be known (forever), as the Lumme Lady with the smelly arm pits and butt checks!
Reputation is everything.

Not quite the same as "Don't Squeeze the Charmin" or the Lonely Maytag Repairman.

That does not, however, explain shows like ‘The Price is Right’ or similar BS nonsense . . . .
