Have a look at Abe's of Maine if you really want low prices.

Never shop on 42nd St in NY for ANYTHING but Theater Tickets and buy those from Ticketmaster.

I don't think you live near that store do you? So stay where you are.

Stay away from either of the two mentioned thus far. Consider B&H or Adorama.

Why are you intested in that shop instead of the known trustworthy shops ? Are you just looking for trouble ?

Today no authorized dealer can sell for lower price than the manufacturers set so really there is no need to shop around for price.

Many years ago 47th Street photo (not 42nd St) was a reputable dealer. That was a long, long time ago and they are NOT related.

Personally I would not use them. Photography equipment has set prices, if a company is selling for less then all others, they are doing something no other company is doing. And that is not good.
You are much better going through B&H, Adorama, or your local camera shop.

This store has been around as long as I can remember. It was well established in the mid-1970s, which is as far back as I go, photographically.

You are likely confusing it with the original 47th Street Photo which in its day was a very good store.
