I've been shooting a lot of wildlife in my backyard, and it has helped getting 'muscle memory' with switching auto-focus detection modes, ISO, and exposure compensation. I really like the location of the ISO and exposure compensation buttons.

I use Steve Perry’s Z8/Z9 setup guide as well. I have been switching auto focus modes as well. Still have a great deal to learn, but despite that, love the camera.
