As for food photography goes, the last shot is most representative of that type of photography. It is well lit with the main light source above and slightly to the rear of the subject casting a slight shadow to the front under the rim of the plate. This adds depth to the shot. I doubt I could have done much better using all the tools I would have used for such a shot. These would have included a large soft box positioned above and slightly behind the subject with white reflector cards highlighting the food but not filling in the shadow area I mentioned above. It is really amazing how good cell phones are able to interpret photos these days. If all anyone needed for a shot was something that could be posted or put in a menu, cameras larger than a cell phone would be unnecessary.

I would have no problem enjoying anyone of these desserts. They all look good along with the photography.

I see no reason why I couldn’t sample each before making a commitment. After all, I’ve already chosen chocolate and should be able to validate my decision. These are ALL marvelous.
