I have noticed that many of the ads her on UHH seem to be click bait. That or they sem to be for questionable companies. Not sure why that is so. I avoid clicking on any of the ads.

I used to see ads for surplus Army jeeps that were shipped in crates. The parts were packed in grease and there was a considerable amount of assembly required. I don't see those ads anymore more so they must have sold all of them.

I used to get mail from the government announcing auctions. If you got the last version of the Jeep, you had to destroy it because it was unstable and would tip over easy. They showed two way to destroy it: cut it in the shape of an X or run it over with a tank. They offered a lot of old, large computers because they had quite a bit of silver and gold.

I don't click on any ads on the internet. If I see an add that looks interesting I google the product or company to see if it is real or a scam. Most ads nowadays are at the least very deceptive and a good percentage of them are total scams. I got scammed years ago by one on Facebook that was a total lie just to take your money and I still occasionally see ads from them. False advertising used to be a crime but the FTC has too much to do now to monitor the billions of ads on the internet.

Interesting site. Sometimes buying something from a place like that is about repurposing what you buy. Take a look at the first page under medical supplies. There is a stainless steel 7-drawer medical cart. This would make a wonderful tool chest. Too bad the location is in Alaska!
