Not really enough room to say all I wanted on some of the photos but I'll add a little here. The first shot was with a 5.2 mp Sony but still turned out pretty nice.
Ron would take a photo he took mount it behind a matt, then paint an extension off the photo onto the matt making the photo look almost 3D. He was an architect before he retired, which I'm sure helped his photography.
The fourth one was not a walk my wife walked in but worked on the medical staff instead. We live in Texas so it was a long way to go for volunteer work. She's one of a kind.
A couple of other shots of the kids in the last one have won numerous blue ribbons in various competitions. That was a great trip.
First trip to Mexico. Jewelry factory a few miles from Tulum. I got the guard to come up beside my wife like he was holding her prisoner. Taken about 2003.

I had the privilege of being in charge of photography for the SGK North Texas branch for six years. Taking the group shot was always a highlight for me. I got to supervise up to 20 amateurs and pros which was fun. Editing 12k to 15k photos was not.

Ron Maribito at the Dallas Arboretum. One of the finest photographer I know. He combines his painting and photography talent to create photos that continue off the photo on to the matt. Unique

Another SGK shot, this time Washington, DC. A tradition is to hold up the left shoe in salute to all who walked. i was in the right place to catch the Washington Monument in the background.

Finally, two kids on the Rio Dulce River in Guatemala. Part of a series about 10 miles up from port. One of the other kids, about 4years old was only about 5 feet long. The trip was to see the water lilies but the kids made my day.

Nice set Dean.

Thanks Don, appreciate the comment. Not many people comment on people photos from what I've seen.
A lot more interesting than looking at fat tattoed bikers and their spouses doing nothing in B&W.
