Getting creative is never bad. I do like the butterfly. Can't go wrong with pictures of butterflies.

Not really. All you have to do is read the information in the “Help” section (link at the top of the page), and review the information in “All Sections” (link at the bottom of the page).

Yeah. But most members are more interested in sharing photos, and less interested in studying rules and regulations! I've been here since 2017 and still make mistakes. But I'm a slow learner. Especially when the learning is of questionable worth.

Don't fret. Posts to the wrong section happen quite frequently. Many don't realize that when you click on "Create New Topic" it defaults to the last section you were viewing. If you go there now after reading my post you will see "Main Photography Discussion". If you click on that you will see a drop down menu showing all the sections you are subscribed to. Choose the appropriate section and continue from there. If you want to post to a section where you are not subscribed I'm not sure how you would do that. You may have to subscribe to post there but I don't know for sure. It's probably in the rules.

If you have never been to the gallery then you might post a picture here thinking that is where it is supposed to be. If you have been to the gallery you would know that is where you should post your show case. The OP that he/she has seen many photos from other members so I asked where did he/she saw them? If the OP saw those images in the gallery then the OP should know that where pictures go.
