Great Horned Owl coming right at me

Nice shots ending up with a great series! How early did you have to get there to get a "good location" to shoot?

That day I was there when they opened at 8:30. I probably got to the site by 9. So I had a wait, but worthwhile.
Last week I was much later, by 9:30 so I was far in back of the line. So my location was far from ideal
