After researching the phone, I found out that this phone had the best camera in the phone industry.
So I purchased it; the amount of noise at sunset is horrible.
It looks like a 480 image :(
I was thinking of not carrying all the heavy gear resulting from regular professional cameras.
It's not worth it, maybe just during the daylight.
Any other opinions?
It would help if you went on a Mobile Phone Course to find out how to use the phone properly. This photo was taken with an I-phone 12 PRO MAX. It was printed last week as an A3 photo for a Club's exhibition. This is before any processing has been done to it.
A member of the club agreed to print it for me and to put it in a frame. I watched while he used the present Lightroom as he has a subscription whereas I only have Lightroom5. I was more impressed with the result and if anyone is interested I can post the finished print.
Observations. You will note that the left plank on the walkway the wood is a bit bleached so it is blown out. The person who processed it didn't know how to tone down the highlights.
The post on the right is very dark and there is no detail in the post. My friend told me nothing could be done with it as it was a JPEG photo. I am sure that those among you would be able to clone the pattern from the floor onto the post. I know what should be done, but I don't know how to achieve it. Please then show it and say how it was achieved. I am hoping to enter the photo in my other club's competition, but I wouldn't until I can fix the imperfections to the best of my ability.
As a small photo, the bits of debris are not noticeable, but once it was printed as an A3 the debris was obvious and were removed.
I asked my friend Don whom I met on this site (I am UK) he is USA, to see what he could do, so his version is even better than my friend's. I am sure that he wouldn't mind showing his version.
I was so impressed with the i-photo that I enrolled on a mobile phone short course. One of the members had a Samsung 24 and I was impressed with her photos, so much so, that the i-phone 15 PRO MAX that I had purchased two weeks earlier is now replaced with a Samsung 24 ULTRA. The phone is not perfect but, it is nearly as good as some of today's popular cameras.
All in all, I am very pleased with my Samsung. I have found that I now take more photos as the phone is always with me and is no bother to carry around.
Comments and observations are accepted.
Also, please feel free to process the photo and see what you can do with a mobile phone photo.
Thanks.
