What a great photo. Best wishes for her in the quest to reach 100. My great grandmother made to within a month of 102, and I have always regretted not asking her more about the time when she was growing up and as a young adult. People living in that time frame saw so much change; industry, the first cars, the telephone, electricity, etc. 1855-1957.

Exactly. Not to mention the history of what we have done as a country and the mistakes they see us making again. My Great Aunt died at 101 in 2017. She left behind an interesting book of newspaper clippings of family history and life events going back to the turn of the century as left by her Grandmother and passed on daughter to daughter to daughter. I found some incredible family history I didn't know happened. Much of it going back to Iowa where her family came to after migrating down through Canada in the early 1800s. Cherish the elderly... they know where the skeletons are buried.

I cannot take credit for this photo. It is a cell phone photo taken of my new Grandson and his 97 year old Great Grandmother. "Grandma Jo" is still alert and oriented and welcomes a visit of her Great Grandson even though she is very tired these days. Grandma Jo took a horrible fall and had a head injury about 3 months ago and is slowly recovering. All prayers and well wishes accepted gratefully. She is trying to make it to 100 and hopes to see a Great Granddaughter arrive in that time.

God Bless! Hope Her dreams will be answered!
