You might want to consult a rancher or a farmer about the need for full-auto AK-47s when lambs and calves are thick on the ground and coyotes and hogs are everywhere.

now you are delving into FULL auto..they are not needed for coyotes & hog hunting

I don't need to consult ranchers or farmers, because I've been on the stock end of AK-47's and M-16's. They operate on the three-shot principle. After the first three shots on auto, you're lucky to keep the rest of the shots on paper. I've shot foxes and coyotes, and my rifle of choice was a quality bolt action rifle, chambered in a 6mm class and scoped with a nice Leupold.

I've hunted feral hogs with handguns, and unless you nail one behind the shoulder, it's liable to go on its merry way unless you get a lung or heart hit; then it goes until it bleeds out. The best round is a .41 or .44 Magnum. A good shot from a .357 Magnum also works.

Ranchers and farmers don't rely on spray and pray to rid themselves of predators. Unless you hunt at night, you'll likely never see a wolf, and then only with night vision devices. Coyotes and foxes can be seen occasionally, but usually at ranges where it takes expert marksmanship, and an expensive rifle and scope to kill them. And it costs a bunch of money to own a Class III weapon.

I've never met a rancher or farmer who'd dare shoot into a mass of animals and ensuring they only hit predators.

You watch too much TV.

True to type the 'gunners', bless 'em, dig in on semantics ... except this time it isn't about 'assault rifles' or "clips".

Don't freak out fellas, "professional shooters" and "primary producers" are legal terms in Aussie gun law. Legal semi-auto ownership is a big deal here. Public shootings are mostly criminals shooting criminals since the Port Arthur massacre in 1996. No schools on the list.

Contrary to persistent NRA misinformation about Aussie gun laws ... gun stores are conveniently located with the other stores.

Despite all their gun laws I'm guessing New York and Illinois rank 49th and 50th.

So some were shot. No worries, it not important enough to change anything. If the laws weren't changed after Sandy Hook, they won't be change now. Carry On, buy more guns before they are outlawed. Isn't that what happens after such tragedy?

What about Smart Guns? Ammo restrictions? Alien Intervention?

So you blame every legitimate, law abiding owner of a firearm, because 2 immature idiots decided to have a gun fight in a crowd? Why are you so immature and hate our Constitution so much?

Let me rephrase, what would you change in the amendment?

As a Radical Liberal Lefty, I do not want to end access to all of NRA's offerings, because I want my side, not me, to have access to weapons to defend our side from the lunatic Right.

As how to change the 2nd Amendment, I'll like it to be decided legally, with consensus. I will let it be done by Congress by consensus, you know legally as proscribed in the Constitution and not by some wannabe Dictator that believes it's ok to kill your opponents... because he wants to be a Dick-for-a-day.

Didn’t hit quote (for Artz):

As a radical liberal lefty you shouldn’t worry about gun laws or NRA protections. Just keep electing Soros backed DAs who don’t enforce or prosecute gun cases and you’ll be fine and changing the 2nd amendment isn’t something congress can do by consensus as it would also require 3/4 of the States (38/50) to ratify an amendment.

You started out logically putting forth your view then had to bring Trump into it. Why?

It can't be done by Congress by consensus. Read the Constitution on what must be done to change the Constitution.

lol! Worst case scenario ... Trump declares martial law and suspends the constitution ... *'for the duration' ... and then he rewrites the Constitution Viktor Orban style. It happens all the time. Why are we special? Guns? Good luck.

* something terrorist/Reichstag fire-ish from mind of Stephen Miller.

If ANY President were to do that let's hope that the right, which are Constitutionaliists would rise up and take him down. If not them, then the military. Trump will not suspend the Constitution and declare martial law.

Trump owns everything that used to be 'the Grand Old GOPers' ... be real, there will be no voices of opposition, only cheering from MAGAville and Moscow.

You underestimate them. To them MAGA means exactly that. A great America, not some slimy dictatorship. Many Trumpers are veterans who fought for this country and for the flag. They will not change it to follow one person. What you suggest is leftist propaganda. It would be Civil War II if that were to happen.

That's history, a simple plan that worked. So all of a sudden all the 'Big Lie' believers, the J6 deniers, both IN and out of government are going to start saying ... " By gee, George Will was right all those years ago, 'this scum sucking pig has no business anywhere near the levers of power!'!" (more or less)

Have you noticed how most of our lefty Hogger friends are incapable of having a logical discussion without bringing Trump into the conversation? Can't wait for their response.
