How about banning all semi-automatic shoulder weapons -- Ban all oversized magazines for side arms
The Tex Shooter was a long time ago & he was a lot better shooter than the majority of the clowns with their AR's

James Holmes detonated several smoke bombs prior to shooting in the Colorado theater. He could have just as easily thrown explosive devices and probably had a higher body count. Where there is a will there is a way. Just ask Timothy McVay.

Name a gun an average Joe can’t own. I can buy a fully automatic 50 caliber machine gun if I want to go to the expense and hassle of getting the proper permit. I’d have to pass the requisite back ground check like any other citizen. I can go to any number of ranges and shoot a fully auto Uze by paying a fee to the owner and buying the ammo. If I want a canon I can. Buy one. A Russian MIG, no problem. S what is the commonality of all these weapons? They all, each and every one of them is that they require a person to make them deadly. Ask Timothy McVeigh if you need a gun to kill a bunch of people. If you are afraid of the gun in your neighbors basement then you better stay away from planes and automobiles.

Not a problem and yes to all of the above. Been there and done that many times. Have a wonderful day. Of course they are all wonderful but sometimes stuff gets in the way to hide the best parts. If my eyes open the day is already a winner for me. For many people their eyes won't open. I have written numerous coroner reports on just those people. I love that idea of placing blame on the shooter rather on the type of firearm. What a novel and accurate assessment of crimes in the past Million years give or take a few thousand. If I had to guess I would state and pretty accurately that kitchen knives are used in more murders with a knife than any other type of sharp instrument. Yet I don't see the Left picking and choosing to get rid of kitchen knives as they pick and choose assault type rifles. But of course all rifles of all types combined are used in only 3% of crimes including murder. Yet the Left wants to ban those assault type rifles that might make up 1/2 of a percent. Isn't their thought process or lack of any thought process just AMAZING? Could there be another reason to take away those specific rifles such as possibly to control We the People? Seems like it.

On top of that the semi auto firearms, rifles, make up maybe 1/2 to 1 percent of all violent crimes with all rifles combined making up only 3%.
