People from some of the Marti Gras parades we have been to. Mostly Shreveport, La and Waxahachie, Tx. Not quite your NOLA parade but we had fun at both.
Yep, no introduction needed...
Clearly and unmistakably Marti Gras New Orleans...
My dad flew me there when I was just a kid, will never forget the huge catfish being hauled out of the Mississippi in 1950! Fast forward, had to do IT management for Computer Associates' CA Week in The Big Easy nearly 50 years later... the catfish where gone (the Mississippi at NOLA is pretty much toxic sewage now) albeit the people all remained the same...
Yes the The Big Easy endures with all it's camaraderie...
Thank you for sharing pdsdville... Brings back many intriguing memories..
Not quite the New Orleans crowd but close enough Dean. Mardi Gras is an experience everyone one should have at least once in their lives. Minor point, it is Mardi Gras, not Marti Gras. It is on 2/13/2024 this year. Has fallen on my birthday a few times but won't for the next 20 years.

Thanks Don, I thought the spelling looked off but was too lazy to check it.
