From an Air France plane in the Delhi-Paris leg. The aircraft's thick windows are not the best medium for shooting through. But I don't know of any other option to get a 36,000 feet view! 😎

No critiques necessary. Good job.

You have certainly captured the roughness of the mountains.

If you hadn't mentioned the thick glass I would not have thought about it... terrific image.

Thank you very much, Stlawrence. I need to start shooting using the back screen instead of the viewfinder when the situation demands. Raising the camera up to avoid the edges of the plane window would have helped matters.

Thank you, Dave. It was a long trip, focused on being with an aging parent. I did manage to do some photography in Kolkata, as you might have seen in my recent posts.

Thank you John. The length and breadth of just the mountain ranges that I could seeing going on and on, under a plane traveling at almost 700 mph, was quite awe-inspiring.

The view would be grander from the cockpit for sure. But the glass would be just as thick and optically challenging I would think.
