My company produces two calendars a year. One is called "Scenics of America"
https://www.minespress.com/shop/scenics-of-america-wall-calendar-1541#attr= The link brings your to the calendar for sample photos - of the look we use.
We have been using stock photos for a while now. However, those images are getting old and I was wondering if you would be interested in submitting your best landscape photos.
Typically, we use one photo per state, and the month's photo usually reflects the season (December = winter)
We will offer a modest monetary reimbursement along with full photo credit on the page and indexing in the back of the catalog. We may even be able to print your website or contact info, but I'm still waiting for approval on that.
The calendar image size is 11" x 8" Please have high-res or raw file version for production
You can either post your landscape in a reply, and I can message you, or you can message me with your image.
I think it could be fun if posted here as feedback is appreciated.
If I should post this in a different place of the forum please let me know.
Thank you in advance.
Sounds like fun.
Is there a deadline to submit photos?
Maybe create a Dropbox folder that people can drop their photos into. Just a thought.
Rich
Thank you yes that is an important detail.

Yes I thought that a los res photo here and I would arrange later to collect the high res photos. A Dropbox folder is a good idea
when will we know if you have picked one of our photos for the calendar?
I thought I would give it a week or so. But would start selecting right away. I really not sure if I was going to get a response. The pictures that are posted in the photo gallery are always amazing and while the stock art sites have nice photos. There’s no real connection. And the really nice photos are used in a plethora of places . While UHH have real people and stories which in my opinion would make the calendar special. Perhaps we could also add the photographers backstory of the photo if it’s not too long. I do have a small amount of creative license. With the design.

I have this picture of a lake in the Rocky Mountains. I took the shot in late October last year. The weather could not decide what it wanted to do snow, rain, sleet, sunshine. We got all of it on a half day hike. I thought that this picture represents Rocky Mountains very well. It is native format 8x12 so you have room to crop if you choose to use it, also I have a high resolution tiff that is ready to be used
Extremely nice October shot. Thank you very much for participating.

Always glad to help a fellow hogger.
This one is from Newport Rhode Island entitled "Newport Sunset."
While on a vacation to see Mount Rushmore, enroute I took several more photos of other scenes. This is one of those many others. I realize the sun is way overexposed but think that results from the cloudless sky and the clear unadulterated atmosphere of the area, plus wanting the proper exposure of the land.
