I received my B&H order. The Benro Arcasmart Sidearm Clamp. Regular $50, but bought it on one of their discount promo days for $20, so thought I'd give it a try. So far it seems very solid. All metal. Very flexible in how it can be used. Folds up into a small package. Arca swiss base for the tripod. Even works as a table top stand for the phone. Here's a few pictures. There's a few YouTube videos out there showing how it works.

Benro makes good hardware! Thanks for posting that!

Smart phone tripod brackets are available. The bracket attaches to your tripod’s camera plate using the standard screw, and then mounts to the tripod just like any other camera. See attached example pics.

They are available from different companies and the price range varies greatly.

I’m just wondering how many people here know of them and use them?

I have one built into my Promaster Chronicle tripod. I didn’t even realize it at the time of purchase, so it was a nice surprise and has come in handy on multiple occasions.

Here is a photo set up I use. The clamp is a Ulanzi with arca foot & and tripod screw holes. The stick is a platypod stick and the base is the small platypod with level. Light weight and fun to shoot with. I use the stick when shooting videos and stills with the phone adds to stability.
