Beautiful shot of a great classic muscle car.
My first real car was a 69 Grand Prix. I have yet to see one on the Hog, or at a show.
It was a chick magnet with a 400 4bl, 400 hydromatic transmission and bucket seats.
I really like that era of American steel.
Nice, I had a 1968.. Blue
Perfect color for the car, but the choice of wheels don't add to its looks.
Sharp looking ‘66. I enjoy photography, especially old muscle cars. Even though I own a ‘69 from day one, now restored. I have always wanted a ‘66.
Love your photos of classic cars. Aside from attending car shows, how do you hunt them down?

Your Gold '69 is a great looking car! I don't think I've ever seen one in that color, but it really looks good.
I am the founder of “Electric City GTO’s, Inc.(1991) located in the Capital District area of upstate NY.
There are plenty of opportunities I take advantage of; mostly car shows and cars & coffee events seem to get the cars out you don’t see at shows.
I enjoy the hobby, shoot with a Canon 5D Mark II w/EF 24-70mm f/4L USM.
However, the GTO photo you see was done with my old crop sensor.
In 1966 as a senior in high school a GTO is what I wanted. A 1964 Impala Super Sport, black with white bucket seats, 327, 4 on the floor, was what I could afford at Reedman's Chevrolet in Philadelphia. Fastest car in the high school, never beat at the local quarter mile. No regrets, but that GTO sure is sweet, especially the front grill.

Correct me if I'm wrong: 389-CI, 3-2 Barrel Carburators (aka 3-Duces),4 Speed Hurst shifter in the floor (4 in the floor), positrac rear end. I went to the Army in June of 1966. When I came home on leave in late September, my Buddies female friend was driving her boyfriend's '66 GTO. In the back seat my head would snap every time she changed gear and when the Carbs would kick in.
I bought a '68 GTO when I got out and it was 400-CI, 4-in the floor, positrak rear end . . . and 8-miles per gallon.
Thanks, I restored it in its original color called “Antique Gold”.
