Thanks Ellen. I had to interrupt my catch-up on the responses as my dear Mrs wife called me for dinner, and when that call comes, you drop everything and rush to the dinner table - she does not like it when I am not immediately present because she wants her creations to be consumed at the height of their quality curve! - and I of course totally agree with this!

Interesting also that street scene in image #1: some 30 years ago, we were also on a drive from the Loire river valley towards Switzerland, noticed this hilltop town, made a feeble attempt to drive up to it, realized time didn't allow us to really explore it, so we just saw the very bottom of this road leading upwards into the hilltown. I kept that scene in my mind for some 30 years, kept forgetting the name of the place, but occasionally checked back and each time found it again - so here in the spring of 2023 it finally fit into our route schedule to be properly explored! - We actually stayed for one night at the very top of this hilltown, right adjacent to the 11th century abbey, and then decided to have a walk down on that street to the point where we encountered some 30 years ago, and this image shows the middle part of the street, as we were walking down. Nothing really fantastic, but just so authentic.

No problem, Joe! When dinner and wife call, you must go! We hoggers can wait. As you see, I am not nearly as prompt as you.
