Virgin River and the Watchman...Zion N.P.
Son and I made a quick trip down to Zion N.P. after seeing a snow report for the area...first significant snow there in years. Conditions were fair when we arrived but the ole bugaboo "should have been here yesterday" was apropos. We did manage to come home with several hundred photos that are now in process. In our 35 years living in Utah, this was the first time I was able to get snow photos of Zion N.P. and am thrilled for this opportunity. Another major storm was hitting as we left to come home Thursday and we drove 300 miles through snow and slush...semi trucks flipped over and cars in ditches. Glad my son was driving!
I've posted a similar photo in the "Smartphone Photography" section that I actually think is a little nicer than this image. You may want to check it out.

Quite a beautiful scent, and well photographed!
That's a lovely scene. My astigmatism must be working overtime today, as it looks crooked to me.

That’s nice. It’s a place that stays beautiful, even when the weather is not. Well done.

Very nice! The snow certainly adds to the image.

Doesn't everyone just love auto correct!??? My comment above contained the word 'scene'... It was auto corrected to scent!
