Thanks Dave. You can trust him. He is the bearer of all knowledge. Like a ghost he can appear without completely being there.

Engaging concept, especially the transparent aspect.
The element on the lower right, is it a gate? It feels too small for where it's located, although the post is kind of too large IMO
I think I understand your purpose, but in their current form, they are distracting from the key message, and the beauty of the colors and scene.

However I was thinking along the lines, the gate is open. Enter into my world. I originally had him on a sand dune and switched him out. The gate was one of the reasons for the switch.

Great concept! He could go for a little bit more shading, don't you think? He's indeed rather spooky but the globe he's holding is rather flat and dull. It could do with a bit more highlighting and shadow. He's definitly spooky though!

I at one point used a gradient on the globe. But changed it to what is in the image. I felt the solid color was more fitting. I also played with him being more solid. But again I wasn’t crazy about the look.
I think if I posted all the elements no two would look similar.

Jack the way I did it was with three different texture layers I have in my library. I am sure it can be done in multiple ways. I used a different Blend Mode on each texture.
